Transmitter

Pressure Transmitter: A device, also known as a pressure transducer, used to electronically convert the pressure of a gas or liquid in a vessel or pipe to an electronic signal. The electronic signal is then measured by an electronic signal, or read by a computer to display, trend, and alarm the operator.
