SolidC centrifugal pumps are reliable, cost-effective units tailored for less demanding pumping duties in environments where hygiene standards are important. The focus is on robustness and reliability, excellent hygiene standards and easy, rapid maintenance.
There are currently four SolidC models, which all provide exceptional value compared with other pumps in this class. All models are fitted with the same superior shaft seal used in Alfa Laval premium LKH pumps. This means plants that use both standard and premium Alfa Laval centrifugal pumps only need one type of shaft seal, reducing spare parts inventory.
SolidC pumps are ideal for use in the food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, light chemical and water industries. They cope with inlet pressures of up to 4 bar, flow rates of up to 90 m3/hour and pressure heads of up to 80 metres (8 bar).
Avoiding bacteria traps is crucial when processing food products. That is why the design of the inside of the pump has been optimised so it is easy to keep clean, and the SolidC range has more advanced hygienic design features than any other standard-duty pump on the market. As a result, the SolidC range complies with 3A and CE regulations and has EHEDG certification.
